Overview

The Aquamancer is one of the six playable Classes in Levelite. As masters of water and the healing arts, Aquamancers control the flow of battle through fluid magic and vital support.

They serve as the core Healer archetype, keeping their allies alive and turning the tide of difficult encounters.

Aquamancers are designed for altruistic and strategic players who want to ensure their team's survival. Although they can deal elemental damage, their true strength lies in their restorative abilities.

In group encounters, especially challenging Raids, Aquamancers act as the anchor of the team by providing crucial healing and buffs without draining the party's shared resources for those abilities.

Aquamancers belong to the Arcanum Skill Core, alongside Visionary and Mindbreaker.

Powers and Abilities

Choosing the Aquamancer class grants the user several supportive and elemental traits.

Aquatic Affinity

Drawing power from the tides, Aquamancers receive a permanent +8% Water Damage bonus to their elemental attacks.

This passive enhances their effectiveness when using Water-based offensive abilities.

Endless Flow

The Aquamancer's most powerful asset in group combat is its resource-efficient support.

Any buff or healing skill cast by an Aquamancer costs no party Energy or Mana, allowing them to sustain the team without penalising the group's offensive capabilities.

This makes Aquamancers especially valuable during long Raids, where efficient resource management can determine the outcome of an encounter.

Cleansing Waves

Every time an Aquamancer heals an ally, there is a 10% chance to remove a debuff.

This restorative effect helps keep the team healthy and free from negative status effects.

Note: Special Shields are not considered regular buffs and therefore still consume Energy and Mana when used.

Weaknesses

Physical Frailty

Much like the Visionary, Aquamancers dedicate their training to magic and support, leaving their physical strength underdeveloped.

They suffer a permanent −10% Physical Damage penalty, making melee combat highly ineffective.

Increased Ability Costs

Because Aquamancers devote their focus primarily to healing skills, using other abilities costs twice the normal amount of Energy and incurs an additional 50% Mana cost.

This makes offensive abilities less resource-efficient and encourages players to focus on healing and support.

Equipment

Equipment Type

  • Magical

Aquamancers benefit most from equipment that enhances magical capabilities and supports their healing role ( +20% stats from magical eqipments )

When selecting equipment, prioritise:

  • Mana-related attributes.

  • Magical Damage bonuses for elemental attacks.

  • Stats that complement the intended support build.

Equipment should support the Aquamancer's ability to sustain allies throughout prolonged encounters rather than focusing exclusively on physical combat.

Skill Progression

Aquamancers progress through the Arcanum Skill Core.

Their builds should prioritise healing, buffs, and supportive abilities that improve the party's survivability.

When developing a build, consider prioritising:

  • Healing abilities that sustain allies.

  • Buffs that improve party effectiveness.

  • Skills that take advantage of Cleansing Waves.

  • Water-based attacks when additional elemental damage is needed.

A well-developed Aquamancer balances healing and support with occasional offensive contributions when the team's condition and available resources allow it.

Players are free to choose any skill branch that suits their preferred playstyle. However, the following progression is recommended for the Aquamancer class.

Each class has three skill branch tiers: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced.

1. ARCANE INITIATE — Basic Tier

ARCANE INITIATE is the foundational skill branch and a mandatory starting point for all classes belonging to the ARCANUM Skill Tree.

Its core skills are:

  • Mana Bolt

  • Stormcaller Spear

This branch establishes the fundamental magical abilities required to progress into more specialized skill branches.

2. ASTRAL COVENANT — Intermediate Tier

ASTRAL COVENANT is the intermediate skill branch, offering a versatile collection of support abilities. Its skills range from offensive buffs and movement speed enhancements to healing, allowing the Aquamancer to adapt to different combat situations.

Its core skill is:

  • Ether Sanctuary

This branch provides a balanced foundation for both healing-oriented and protection-oriented playstyles, preparing the Aquamancer to specialize in one of the two advanced branches.

3. Advanced Tier — Specialized Playstyles

At the advanced tier, the Aquamancer can choose between two distinct skill branches depending on their preferred playstyle: FATEWHISPER, which focuses on healing and restorative abilities, or SERAPH AEGIS, which specializes in defensive support and team protection.

FATEWHISPER — Healing-Oriented

FATEWHISPER is the recommended branch for players who prefer a healing-focused playstyle, emphasizing powerful restoration and the ability to disrupt enemy buffs.

Its core skills are:

  • Celestial Rewind — Restores a substantial amount of HP, providing powerful healing to help allies recover from heavy damage.

  • Fate Collapse — Deals Dark-element damage and purges the target's buffs, weakening enemies by removing their beneficial effects.

FATEWHISPER is ideal for players who prioritize recovery and sustain while retaining offensive utility against buff-dependent enemies.

SERAPH AEGIS — Protection-Oriented

SERAPH AEGIS is an excellent choice for players who prefer a defensive support role, focusing on damage prevention, debuff cleansing, and damage reflection to protect both themselves and their allies.

Its core skills are:

  • Absolute Zero Barrier — Creates an absolute damage-negating barrier that protects both the caster and their allies from incoming damage.

  • Glacial Hymn — Removes all debuffs from the caster and their allies, cleansing harmful status effects and restoring the team's combat readiness.

  • Eternal Frost Dominion — Grants the ability to reflect 80% of the damage received back to the attacker, punishing enemies for targeting the protected unit.

SERAPH AEGIS is particularly suited to players who prioritize team survivability and defensive utility, making it a strong choice for encounters where damage mitigation and status-effect management are essential.

Important Note: Endless Flow Interaction

Certain skill effects, including special shield generation and damage reflection, do not benefit from the effects of Endless Flow. Players should account for this limitation when planning their builds and selecting skill combinations.

Role in Combat

Aquamancers primarily serve as healers and magical support specialists.

Strengths

  • Resource-Efficient Healing: Healing and buff skills do not consume party Energy or Mana.

  • Debuff Removal: Has a 10% chance to remove a debuff whenever healing an ally.

  • Water Damage Specialisation: Gains a permanent +8% Water Damage bonus.

  • High Raid Value: Helps sustain the team during prolonged encounters.

  • Team Support: Provides healing and buffs that allow damage dealers to focus on attacking.

Weaknesses

  • Low Physical Damage: Suffers a permanent −10% Physical Damage penalty.

  • Expensive Non-Support Skills: Other abilities cost twice the normal Energy and incur an additional 50% Mana cost.

  • Role Dependence: Gains the most value by focusing on healing and supporting allies.

Aquamancers work particularly well alongside Guardians, who absorb incoming damage, and damage dealers such as Shadow, Visionary, and Titan, who benefit from sustained healing and support.

Trivia

  • Endless Flow makes the Aquamancer one of the most valuable classes in Raids.

  • Its healing and buff skills do not consume the party's Shared Energy pool or Mana.

  • Cleansing Waves gives the class a chance to remove debuffs whenever it heals an ally.

  • Aquamancers help other classes maintain offensive pressure without needing to skip as many turns to regenerate shared resources.
