JOURNAL

Journal is a personal space in Levelite for tracking emotions, recording notes and bugs, saving ideas, or simply keeping a personal diary while playing.

Journal is a built-in feature in Levelite designed to give players a personal space to record their thoughts, experiences, and observations while playing the game.

Unlike traditional gameplay features, Journal is not focused on progression, combat, or rewards. Instead, it provides a place where players can write things down, keep track of their emotions, record discoveries, or simply leave a note for themselves.

"Your mindset matters."

Features

Emotion Tracking

Players can use Journal to keep track of their emotions and mood throughout their gaming sessions.

Recording how you feel can help you recognize patterns in your gameplay experience—for example, noticing when you tend to become frustrated after losing a difficult battle or when certain activities make the game more enjoyable.

Notes and Bug Reports

Journal can also be used as a quick notepad while playing.

Players may record:

  • Bugs or unusual behavior they encounter.

  • Interesting interactions or discoveries.

  • Things they want to investigate later.

  • Gameplay observations.

  • Build or strategy ideas.

  • Anything they might otherwise forget.

This can be particularly useful when an idea suddenly appears in the middle of a gaming session.

Ideas

Sometimes the best ideas appear at the most unexpected moments.

Players can use Journal to quickly record ideas that come to mind while playing, whether they are related to gameplay, character builds, future projects, or completely unrelated thoughts.

There is no requirement for an entry to be meaningful or well-organized. Journal is simply a place to put your thoughts before they disappear.

Personal Diary

Despite being integrated into a game, Journal can also be used as a personal diary.

Players may write about their day, their experiences, things they are looking forward to, or simply how they feel at the moment.

Nobody expects to open a game just to write a diary—but sometimes, that's exactly what you need.

Why Journal?

Gaming is not only about winning, getting stronger, or completing objectives. A player's mental state can have a significant impact on how they experience the game.

Journal provides a quiet space outside of combat and progression where players can stop for a moment and reflect.

Whether you use it to document a strange bug, write down your next great build idea, track your mood, or write an entire personal diary is completely up to you.

There are no rules for what you should write.

Your game matters. Your ideas matter. And most importantly, your mindset matters.
