Crafting Explained
Crafting allows players to create items, enhance equipment, and dismantle unwanted gear using collected resources and recipes. It serves as Levelite’s main system for managing and transforming materials and equipment.
Crafting is one of Levelite's item-management systems, allowing players to turn collected resources into usable items, enhance existing equipment, and break down gear they no longer need.
Crafting System
Recipes determine what can be produced and which resources are required. Materials can be obtained through gameplay, including monster encounters, or acquired from other players through the Player Shop and Adventure Guild.
The crafting screen provides two useful options:
Autofill — Automatically places available resources into the required slots.
Max — Calculates and fills the materials needed to make the greatest possible quantity with the resources currently available.
Once the requirements are fulfilled, crafting consumes the selected materials and places the resulting item in the player's inventory.
A recipe is mandatory for crafting an item, even when all of its ingredients are already owned.
Equipment Enhancement
Crafting can be used to strengthen equipment through the enhancement system. An enhancement combines the selected equipment, an appropriate Upgrade Stone, and the required Mana Crystals. The result is an Enhanced Equipment version of the original item.
Upgrade Stones differ in both their attributes and quality. Their effects can focus on properties such as Speed, Fire, or Thunder, while stronger rarities provide greater improvements.
Equipment follows a limited enhancement progression:
Most equipment can be enhanced up to 3 times.
Equipment associated with the Mindbreaker class can reach 5 enhancements.
Every additional enhancement increases the normal Mana Crystal requirement by 20.
Epic and Legendary Upgrade Stones use Refined Mana Crystals rather than regular Mana Crystals, with the requirement rising by 5 for each additional enhancement.
Enhancements affecting the same attribute are combined through stacking.
Rarity Effects
Upgrade Stones can raise equipment rarity by different amounts:
Rare stones provide +2, Epic stones provide +3, and Legendary stones provide +5 rarity.
A higher rarity does more than change the item's tier; it also strengthens the item's other effects.
Already-evolved custom equipment is modified directly during enhancement rather than producing an additional copy.
Dismantling
Players can dispose of unwanted equipment through the dismantling system. Ethan in Greyspire handles the scrapping process.
The outcome is not guaranteed. Depending on luck, dismantling may return miscellaneous materials, valuable or unique scraps, or potentially nothing. Certain unique scraps can be exchanged with Ethan.
Because dismantling is permanent, players should carefully review their selected equipment before confirming. Scrapped equipment cannot be restored.
Crafting, enhancement, and dismantling all operate through the same general crafting system, but each serves a different purpose: creating items, improving equipment, or recovering materials from unwanted gear.
