The Trust System is a core social reputation mechanic in Levelite. It serves as a direct metric of a user's standing within the community, indicating how active, reliable, and well-known they are among their peers.

Overview

In Levelite, a high Trust score represents a player who positively contributes to the app's ecosystem. Rather than being earned solely through individual grinding, Trust is deeply tied to social interactions, community engagement, and peer recognition. Accumulating Trust is essential for users who wish to unlock advanced social features and establish themselves as prominent community figures.

Earning and Giving Trust

Users can accumulate Trust points through two primary methods:

Hosting Popular Challenges: When a user creates a custom Challenges and successfully gathers 10 or more participants, the creator is rewarded with Trust points. This encourages the creation of engaging and motivating tasks for the community.
Peer-to-Peer Recognition: Users have the ability to give Trust points directly to other players. If you find someone helpful, inspiring, or a great trading partner, you can reward them with Trust. Conversely, receiving Trust from others is a sign of your good reputation.

Benefits and Unlocks

Gathering Trust is not just a status symbol; it has tangible impacts on a user's progression and capabilities within the app:

Account Upgrades: Accumulating Trust points provides various passive upgrades and enhancements to the user's account.
Feature Unlocking: Certain major social features are locked behind Trust requirements. Most notably, users must reach a specific Trust threshold before they are granted the ability to create and lead their own Guilds. This ensures that only established and reliable users manage community hubs.
