The mastery bonus is an effect boost granted by equipment when your class is compatible with the equipment's class. The total bonus is 20% on the equipment's attributes. Note that not all types of attributes are affected by the mastery bonus.

Armor
Damage Boost
Defense Boost
Elemental Damage
Magical Damage
Percent Elemental Damage
Resistance
Evasion
Speed
Equipment class affinity with user classes:
Aquamancer: Magical.
Guardian: Heavy and normal/medium.
Mindbreaker: Magical and normal/medium.
Shadow: Light and magical.
Titan: Heavy.
Visionary: Magical.
Trivia
Health recovery effects are not affected by the mastery bonus.
Equipment without a class does not provide a mastery bonus.
