Greyspire is a monumental, 100 floor tower that serves as one of the most challenging and time consuming activities in Levelite. It combines the structured progression of Roadmaps with the intense, high-stakes combat of Raids.
Overview
Scaling Greyspire is not a task for the faint of heart. Because of its grueling difficulty and the time investment required to clear each floor, attempting to conquer the tower solo is highly discouraged. It is strongly recommended to tackle Greyspire in well-coordinated groups.
Mechanics and Progression
100 Floors of Challenge: The tower is divided into 100 distinct floors, each progressively harder than the last. Players must clear a floor completely before they are allowed to advance to the next. Similar to the Dungeon, the areas inside the Tower are extremely dark.
Floor Rooms: Each floor is made up of a number of rooms, these rooms are represented by grid squares. You will need to explore the rooms on each floor and find the key to progress further. You will only see the room that you are standing in, the rest will be revealed as you explore and the contents of the room will be represented by different icons. There are different types of floor rooms including; fishing, ceramic pots that can be broken for loot, red rooms that will halt progression until the boss is defeated and stair rooms.
5 Steps per Day: You have 5 steps each day to explore the rooms, moving between rooms costs 1 step. Steps are restored when you complete your tasks for the day. Moving between rooms that have already been explored will not consume your Steps.
Floor Keys: To progress to the next floor you will need to find the key to unlock the stairs to the next floor. A floor may hide its key in a key room, a chest, behind a cleared dungeon, or in the hands of a boss. Every fifth floor the key will be found with the raid boss.
Roadmaps meets Raids: The progression through the tower is not just a simple sequence of battles. It blends the structured, task-oriented journey of a Roadmap with massive boss encounters akin to Raids, meaning players will need to manage their shared energy and coordinate their Classes perfectly to survive the higher floors.
Typically, every 5 floors serves as a checkpoint floor (Floor 5, Floor 10, Floor 15, and so on).
At the end of each checkpoint floor, you will encounter a Boss Raid room. You must defeat the Boss to proceed to the next floor.
Tower Coins and Exclusive NPCs
Conquering the grueling floors of Greyspire yields valuable rewards.
Tower Coins: As players successfully clear floors, they are rewarded with Tower Coins, an exclusive currency specific to Greyspire.
Greyspire Merchants: Located within the tower are special NPCs who deal exclusively in Tower Coins. Players can exchange their hard-earned currency with these merchants to acquire incredibly rare equipment, high-tier crafting materials, and unique cosmetic items to show off their achievements.
Merchant Ethan: found on every checkpoint floor — he trades scraps (from dismantling equipment) for special items. Dismantling or scrapping equipment can be done in the craft menu
NPCs scattered around Greyspire will offer special quests. Completing these quest lines unlocks story content and unique exclusive items.
Note: Some NPCs are hidden and can only be found using the Arcane Sight ( skill Foresight of Visionary )
Fishing System
Water sources on every floor of the Greyspire are now interactive, triggering a full fishing mini-game.
Each player can fish a limited number of times per day, with premium users getting a higher daily limit.
Every lake holds its own unique pool of fish.
Caught fish can be donated to the Museum to help complete its collection.
Trivia
Because Greyspire incorporates Raid mechanics, you will need a perfectly balanced team to reach the 100th floor. A combination of a Guardian to take heavy hits, an Aquamancer to heal without using shared energy, and a Mindbreaker to debuff the floor bosses is widely considered the best strategy for survival.
An Escape Stone breaks the seal on a red room turning it back into an ordinary one.
Echoes left by other climbers appear inside the rooms.
Dying in the Greyspire returns you to the starting room of the floor you wake up on.
You can return to previously conquered floors by riding a mount and flying to any floor you have already conquered.
