Bloodfest Update
The Bloodfest Begins
- For thirty nights, the borders of Carmiria open to the outside world. Miruna von Carmilla, Empress of Carmiria, has sent you an Imperial Invitation to be her personal guest.
- The new Event Hub gathers everything about the event in one place: Event Coins, the Event Shop, event missions, the event's Museum collection and the story behind it.
- Complete event missions to earn Event Coins. You can track up to three at a time.
- Every night, Miruna receives you in a Private Audience. Tell her about your day and win her favor. Your messages are limited each night, and at the end of the audience you see how many hearts you gained or lost. Fill her bar to receive a secret keepsake. Audiences are available to subscribers.
- New event equipment can grant its own skill or a chance to inflict bleeding, poison, burning and other effects on hit.
Limited Banners
- Spend gems on Limited Banners with single pulls or x10 pulls.
- Banners can have a pity system that guarantees a reward within a set number of pulls. Soft pity raises your chance as you get closer, and some banners share pity with related banners.
- The rates screen shows the exact chances and rules used by the server, and the pull history keeps track of every result.
- Some banners refund gems when you pull an item you already own.
- The confirmation shows your gem balance before and after the pull, and a failed pull never charges you.
Combat Rebalanced
- Damage has been recalculated. Each new point of attack adds a little less than the last, and all your damage bonuses together count up to +200%.
- Armor now reduces incoming damage by up to 75%, and evasion is capped at 50%.
- The new Combat Power panel in the inventory shows your attack, damage bonus, armor and evasion, and tells you when a stat is maxed out.
- The damage cap for a single hit is now 99,999.
- Poison, bleed and burn now scale with the hit that applied them, and each tick deals at most 2.5% of the target's maximum health.
- Skill mana costs now follow each skill's power. Damage-over-time skills cost a little more, and skills that also spend health cost less mana.
- Silence now lasts one turn.
- Skill tree requirements have been rebalanced.
- Battles show clearer feedback, with pop-ups for buffs and debuffs and labels for dodges, shields, guards, reflects, taunts and critical hits.
- Battles now warn you when you are overweight. Carrying too much cuts your speed by 95% and your damage by 98%.
Raids
- The new Guard action in raids and Greyspire battles reduces the damage you take from the enemy's next attack by 50%. You can also skip your turn.
- Raid bosses can now strike in the middle of a round.
- Raid bosses now have a minimum level, shown on every lobby and event card. You cannot join or summon a raid below it.
- Each raid boss now has a recommended level range. Above it, you receive 10% less gold and a 10% lower drop chance for each level over the range, down to a minimum of 20%, and you no longer compete for legendary and mythic drops. Summon scrolls always drop normally. The lobby shows a notice when this applies to you.
- The short-lived Level Sync has been removed. Your stats are never reduced in raids.
- The celestial Anchors now drop the Scroll from the Abyss, the Scroll of Corruption and the Scroll of the Celestial.
- The Scroll of the Celestial now drops for each player separately instead of going to a single winner.
- Defeated enemies now shatter into crystal shards in raids, battles and missions. In raids, your finishing blow plays out before the boss breaks.
Adventurers Guild
- The new Contract Board posts contracts by rank. Each contract can be held by only one adventurer at a time, so the first to sign keeps it. You can take contracts of your rank or one rank below, and each has a deadline once accepted.
- New mission types: Target Hunt and Raid Bounty.
- Hunt missions now recognize every variant of their target creature.
Greyspire
- Floors now open instantly from the tower, without a loading screen. Switching between the map and the room is instant too.
- Floors now use the same Greyspire backdrop as the tower entrance.
- Rooms now have a button to open your inventory.
- Echoes now stay in the room where they were left, and each room shows its own echo.
- Pursuers now appear as an animated creature in the center of the room.
- A new button at the tower entrance mutes the Greyspire music. Your choice is saved on your device.
- NPCs and shopkeepers on classic floors are now animated.
- A party leader who is alone in the party can now disband it.
- If a floor fails to load, you can now try again without leaving the tower.
Items and Inventory
- Favorite items are now locked. They cannot be donated to the Museum, scrapped at the Blacksmith or fed to pets until you unfavorite them.
- The new Auto-shelf button sorts every item into the matching automatic folders. You can have up to 30 folders.
- Loot boxes can no longer open empty.
- Event items and upgraded items no longer drop from loot boxes and chests.
- Crafting recipes now have their own screen with every ingredient.
- The Culinary Codex now has an Ingredients tab. An ingredient's property is revealed after you cook with it once.
- Pet Transmutation has its own redesigned screen.
- Upgrade messages now explain clearly why an item cannot be upgraded.
Quality of Life and Fixes
- Tasks are now called Quests everywhere in the English version of the game.
- You can pin your favorite menu entries so they always appear first.
- Fish now bite much faster, after 2 to 5 seconds instead of 10 to 25.
- No one, including the leader, can withdraw more than 100 gems from the guild bank per week.
- Unread chats, raid messages and challenges can be marked as read at once from the menu.
- Wiki pages are now organized into categories.
- Fixed pets not appearing after a fusion.
